I Have A Question

Well, we just commemorated the second anniversary of January 6 and, unlike most of the masses,  I still harbor a lot of questions about that day.   How fierce was the ginning up of the crowds by Trump?   How much did people like Nancy Pelosi help to fuel the fire?  Like most things in life, I think the truth is somewhere in the middle and, given the true nature of politicians, we will never ever get the answers needed.

But, nevertheless, Democrats will never let anybody forget the day.   Indeed, it's a sad anniversary for one Ashli Babbitt, a Trump supporter who was shot to death by a DC copy.   She was unarmed and not a threat, but apparently it was enough for that policeman to kill her.

Indeed, she was the only one to lose her life that day.  Yet, Joe Biden and other Democrats made speeches to remember the five law enforcement folks who lost their lives that day.

Except no law enforcement folks lost their lives that day.   There are stories of one cop who died after being bludgeoned with a fire extinguisher.   Except it never happened.   That officer did die several weeks later from a stroke.  Did the 1/6 riot provoke that?  Who knows?  But he was not beaten to a pulp as they tell you.

As a matter of fact, the cop who killed Ashli was honored as a hero by the President.  Except we still don't know what happened that prompted him to shoot an unarmed woman.

So, that is the single question I have when it comes to 1/6.

When will we know the truth?

Dinner last night:  Leftover lasagna.
