Election Day. We head to the polls in what has now become a virtually pointless exercise in a country which is too stupid to be blessed with democracy.
People will pull levers for their designated political party and gleefully extol their candidate's virtues primarily because they parrot the views of their designated political party. What a bunch of lemmings.
Until the day comes where we are truly bipartisan and demand that our elected officials perform their duties in the most accountable way possible, we are sunk. Let's face it. 99.9% of the clowns running for office today are despicable crooks.
From 3000 miles away, I have watched with increasing hilarity the race for Westchester County Executive in my home New York State. I have paid attention primarily because I went to school and was a neighbor of one of the candidates. The debates and press I have seen of this race are emblematic of the problems our election process now has in 2017.
Hopefully, fellow morons, there will come a day where our vote makes a difference. Right now, it doesn't mean a thing.
Dinner last night: Sausage, peppers, and onions.
