Moron of the Month - September 2013

Yeah, we're not burying the headline this month.  The moron for September is this guy.  No relation to the hero that founded the state of Pennsylvania.  Indeed, this asshole is as much of a patriot as Osama Bin Laden.  Luckily, Michigan State has already done the right thing and taken care of him.  For now.  My guess is that there's some loophole in his contract that protects him and he'll be back.  To continue on with the overall destruction of youth in America.

What?  You haven't heard about him?  Well, if you watch lame stream media, you probably wouldn't have.  They will be very unlikely to report on one of their brethren.  Actually, I became aware of this bucket of shit via actress Patricia Heaton's Twitter page.  She had heard of a guerrilla video shot in this guy's first creative writing class of the school year.  And it went viral.  Good thing, too.

Instead of welcoming students back to another fine year of higher education, Penn went into a monologue that pretty much destroyed anybody that wasn't of a liberal mindset.   More intolerance preached by the alleged tolerant.  And just one more example of a society gone too far in America.  Once again, this is all probably news to you because it certainly wasn't big news on CNN or MSLSD.


In the video, the teacher says, "If you go to the Republican convention in Florida, you see all those old people. ... They're cheap. They don't want to pay taxes because they have already raped this country and gotten everything out of it they possibly could. They don't want to pay for your tuition, because who are you? But to me, you're somebody."

Want more?  Penn had more.  He criticizes former presidential candidate Mitt Romney and wife Ann and speaks of rooting out closet racists in his class.

"If I find out you are a closet racist I am coming after you, okay. This country still is full of closet racists,” he said. “What do you think is going on in South Carolina and North Carolina. Voter suppression. It's about getting black people not to vote. Why? Because black people tend to vote Democratic.”

“Why would Republicans want to do it?” Penn asked. “Because Republicans are not a majority in this country anymore. They are a bunch of dead white people. Or dying white people.”

This is where your tuition money is going, Mom and Dad.

Now reaction to this story will cut both ways.  If you're a conservative or a Republican, you are incensed.  You are throwing your fist to the sky and wondering if Bill O'Reilly has heard about this.  If you're a liberal or a Democrat, you shrug your shoulders.  You laugh to yourself and simply tune into another hour of Rachel Maddow disease.

Whatever side of the moronic fence you sit in, you should be united.  Freedom of speech arguments notwithstanding, there is no room for any of this in our schools and universities.  Give our kids a chance to figure things out for themselves.  Learn about this nation in an unbiased fashion and then decide what makes the most sense for you.   That's truly how children should be educated in 2013.

But it's not, of course.  Because Professor William Penn is one of a large bunch.  Both you and I know that the great majority of college teachers are liberal.  Sucking down a big pension and salary to bloviate on a daily basis.  They're all still angry that folks like Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan actually got elected to be President.  And, naturally, any dissenting word about Barack Obama brands you as a racist.

This is the America we are crafting, folks, and it is ugly.  

Personally, if I had kids today, I'd give second and third thought about what college I would send them to.  I certainly would want to make sure they were getting an independent and unbiased education.  Of course, that would be akin to finding a needle in a haystack.  

Meanwhile, let's think about a young college freshman and sophomore looking to become a journalist.  Yeah, well, good luck.  Because if you have shitheads like William Penn at the podium, their impressionistic minds are merely Play-Doh in their hands.  If you wonder why the news media is so incredibly biased in 2013, think about a journalism or writing class conducted by one of these scum buckets.

Of course, to think that we are even raising new journalists today is a laughable notion.  The actual art of crafting an unbiased news story evaporated about ten years ago.  Indeed, I know several young "reporters" and "writers" who recently majored in journalism.  I've read their stuff and it's very well written.

Except it's not news as we would know it.  All of it is opinion.  "What I think..."  Nothing more than exceptionally well-written op-ed pieces.  I wouldn't pass this blog off as journalism.  Neither should they.

Sad.

Meanwhile, Professor William Penn may be gone, but it won't be for long.  He will retain his $146,510 salary, as well as all his benefits. He seems merely to have received a semester-long vacation, as all his duties have been assigned to others. 

Uh-huh.  

He will be back to give out regular doses of poison.  Not realizing that he will be contributing a little bit to the end of culture as we know it.  When the expected anarchy hits the streets within the next quarter century, I hope he's one of the first to be captured by the other side.  Let's see what all that college tenure is worth when he's in front of a firing squad and offered a blindfold and one last cigarette.
