Where's The Story?

I will tell you this at the get-go.

I hate this guy.  I find NJ Governor Chris Christie a boorish phony.  You know.  The typical politician.

Over recent weeks, it's become quite fashionable to despise him.  Especially since he got caught with his waist size 52 pants down.  Apparently, he used his extra large girth to put some muscle on the Mayor of Fort Lee by closing lanes of the George Washington Bridge and clogging traffic in that town.

Blah, blah, blah.  

So, you wind up with one side of the loony bin (Liberals) pulling out their shivs to castrate the political aspirations of Christie, who is perceived to be the golden boy of the other side of the loony bin (Conservatives).  So much media time and press has been devoted to this nonsense.  

How dare he?

What a horrible man he must be?

And he wants to be our President???

Blah, blah, blah.

I sit back.  I watch and listen to this furor.   And I laugh. 
 
Because, indeed, Chris Christie is no different than any other person in political office.

He uses his position for personal gain.   And to further his own career.

Surprised?   You shouldn't be.   They are all like this.

Every.  Single.  One.

No, one political party or faction is not cleaner than the other.   This isn't about Democrats or Republicans.  Liberals or Conservatives.  Apples or Kumquats.  

They all suck.

Every.  Single.  One.

And that goes from the very lowest rank or office to the very tippy top of this land.  The current fool in the White House.  He's no different than the last five or six fools in the White House.  None of them cared.

What?  You're still surprised.   You want to impeach Chris Christie?

Fine, let's do it.   And when you are done with him, let's start on the other 10,000 politicians in America.  The current fool in the White House is so dirty that even Lava Soap wouldn't remove the stains.  Heck, when he was involved in local Chicago politics, he secretly released the very private divorce records of his opponent.  And that kind of behavior has been extended to his tenure in the White House.  Did you hear about what was going with the IRS last year?

But, the current fool in the White House is really no different than Chris Christie or anybody else.  They do what they can to keep their jobs.  It's not about you.  It's about them.

So, if you're hand wringing over Chris Christie, you should be equally annoyed by all the other clowns in the political system.  

Yes.  Every.  Single.  One.
