Morons of the Month - June 2018

You know how they like to give out those stickers that say "I Voted?"   Well, today is Primary Day in California.   I will not be getting a sticker.   I am proud to say that I am an apathetic voter.   Truly, in this state where there are about four people who are not Liberals or Democrats, what is the point?

The big deal in California is the race for Governor and one of the US Senate seats.   This is something akin to applying for the social director job on the Titanic.  I mean, take a look at this once great state.

Rampant homelessness.

Huge state taxes.

Sanctuary status for illegals.

An infrastructure that is crumbling.

Housing rates through the roof.

A White middle class that is fleeing in droves.

Well, thank God for the weather, which is about the only thing left in this state.

Of course, let's not be foolish here.   There is one party and line of thinking that has ruled this place for years.   Here's a state that is starving for a more moderate government.   But all the people here elect are the very people who have destroyed things in the past.   Let's face it.   This is a crowd that elected the moron Jerry Brown as Governor not once but twice.

So, fighting for the nomination is former SF Mayor Gavin Newsom.   By the way, that city is now littered with the homeless and used hypodermic needles.  Then there's opponent Antonio Villaraigosa, the former mayor of Los Angeles.  Yeah, that worked.

In the State Senator race, we have perennial Dianne Frankenfeinstein who does not but parrot talking points put out by Rachel Madcow and Jake Tapper.  We've already got one of those...Kamala Davis who's already spending all her days trying to figure out how to run for President in 2020.  She's nothing more than Barack Obama without a penis...and there's another joke in there someplace.

There's some fool running for Lieutenant Governor named Eleni Kounalakis.  Her big platform is making sure you're not deported.   She's not a solution.  She's a big old problem.

The list goes on and on and on.   Everything is going to fix things.   But all they do is break stuff.  But, then again, this is a population that continually re-elects Maxine Waters to the House of Representatives.  If you live in her district, try and see if she will respond to your concerns if there's a vowel or a Z at the end of your last name.   I dare you.

So there it is.   More people will flock to the polls in California today to vote for the idiot that appeals to them most.

Is this any way to run a democracy?  Heck no.

Dinner last night:  Chicken sausage, macaroni salad, and pickled beets.
