Most Americans don't like it but, if you raise your hand in dissension, you are branded a racist or...worse...a Republican.
This is the Southern border of the United States. You know. This is where Trump was building a wall. Well, now they might as well hang tissue paper because the current administration has made it so damn easy to come here from Mexico, South America, and all points beyond.
It will get worse in a couple of weeks when some rule called Title 42 expires. Meanwhile, in they come. And then they are often shifted off to other places in our country. I know one landing spot for planes has been Westchester, New York. I know this for a fact. When I was there last summer, a military plane woke me up at 2AM. Allegedly, these migrants are loaded onto buses and dumped off in a Costco parking lot in Port Chester.
Okay, yes, this is a country that has been built on immigration. Your tired, your poor, and your new home. But the reasons why my grandparents came here from Europe are entirely different from what is driving these folks from the South. Our ancestors were looking for opportunity. Today's largely illegal immigrants are looking for handouts. And a political machine that will embrace them for votes.
Meanwhile, now sneaking in are some known terrorists. Oh, and some major drug cartels...enough to warrant another five seasons of "Ozark." You don't know what Fentanyl is. You will soon.
Now these folks crossing the border are hardly morons. They see an opening and they take it. Nope, the assholes are the ones in Washington, DC who are allowing this.
What's that, you say? You voted for them. Hmmm. What size dunce cap can we get for you?
