I used to enjoy this show a lot (coming from a family of nine kids helped me relate, though my mom never looked like Betty Buckley). The daughters were really cute, the plot lines were OK and the whole thing worked pretty well for a few years.
Often forgotten: The show was done with Diana Hyland as Dick Van Patten's wife, but she died. They had to have him deal with that and then remarry (to the pre-Cats Ms. Buckley, who was much younger).
