George Carlin has died and we now will all finish one laugh short.
Dinner last night: Chicken salad wrap and homemade German potato salad.

George Carlin was a great comedian. The featured clip is a great example of the word play that tickled the brain. Who knew that the hippy dippy weather man was a bit of an intellectual. I stopped listening to him the last few years because he always seemed pissed off or angry. Some of the anger was for effect but not very entertaining to me.
Andy Griffin was one of our family's favorite shows for all the reasons you mention. Didn't recall it being on so late but then again I didn't have a curfew. Mayberry was a nice place to visit for a spell. 15avenuebud
