Some back story for today's laugh. Seventy-one years ago today, the Giants' Bobby Thomson hit the shot heard around the world off the Dodgers' Ralph Branca in the 1951 playoffs. They later spoofed everything on "The Ed Sullivan Show." Pretty funny lyrics.
