Just in time for Halloween. The very best Abbott and Costello movie ever. More on this tomorrow in the Sunday Memory Drawer.
Dinner last night: Had a big lunch so nothing really.

A movie I've laughed at for 50 years. The perfect 'scare comedy'. The pairing with Joan Davis is inspired and should have been repeated. Alas.
Every gag works, with the candle scene being a true classic.
The movie even looks great: crisp cinematography, spooky haunted house sets, and sharp editing. Everyone in front of and behind the camera does their best work.
Bravo, Abbott and Costello.
