Frankly, I wouldn't brag about it. Because we now have, running for President of the United States, the two worst candidates we could possibly find. There is no need to discuss either one of them here. Their blatant incompetence is documented elsewhere on a daily basis.
We have let this happen. Years of neglect. Refusal to give up party affiliations in order to elect more qualified candidates. A distinct lack of understanding of Presidential history because...well...schools find it more important to teach children about Cesar Chavez or Jesse Jackson.
We're in for it, gang. The slippery slope that this country has been on since November 22, 1963...the date when we lost the last truly moderate Chief Executive...will get now even slick and steep. At a time when we need to be looking at balanced leadership, we are embracing extremes. America is now bi-polar and manic depressive at the same time.
Look at it this way. Next November, we're all going to be having a leg amputated. It might be the right leg. It might be the left leg. Either way, we are permanently crippled. For life.
So, keep on listening to Fox News and MSNBC and CNN. Keep being led by the media or voting the way your Nixon-hating or Johnson-hating father taught you. And keep pulling a lever without getting one ounce of background information. You might as well not break with your tradition. The time to do that was years ago.
Now it's too fucking late. Morons!
Dinner last night: Had a big lunch so just a sandwich.
